A day in the life es la canción con que la banda Los Beatles dan por finalizado su sencillo de estudio Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. La canción comprende distintas secciones escritas independientemente por John Lennon  Paul McCartney con unos arreglos de orquesta que la convierten en una obra maestra. La letra escrita por Lennon está inspirada en los titulares de noticias de los periódicos de la época mientras que la parte escrita por McCartney buscaba inspiración en los recuerdos más oscuros de su juventud. Another Brick in the Wall  es el título de un set de tres variantes a un ritmo básico que realizó la banda Pink Floyd en el año 1979 bajo el género de rock opera. Esta compuesta de tres partes o variantes cada una narrando un tema diferente de crítica social. La parte 1 es conocida como «Reminiscing», la parte 2 «Education» y la parte 3 «Drugs», siendo la más conocida a nivel mundial y el himno que representa a la banda inglesa la parte número 2 que narra los problemas de la educación rígida y los profesores en todo el Reino Unido. Fue esta parte la que mayor aceptación tuvo en el mundo y la que ahora todos conocen simplemente como Another Brick in the Wall.

Bohemian Rhapsody es una canción compuesta e interpretada por la banda de rock inglés Queen. Fue escrita por el cantante y líder de la banda Freddie Mercury en el año 1975 y forma parte del álbum de estudio A night at the Opera. Se trata de un paseo auditivo inimaginable de 6 minutos de duración que consiste en varios segmentos: Una introducción, un segmento de balada, un pasaje de ópera, hard rock e incluso una coda. Según los récords de la historia es la canción más costosa de todos los tiempos a pesar de que el costo exacto de producción nunca pudo ser estimado. A pesar de que la reacción inicial del público fue mala, la canción permanece como el más reconocido éxito de la banda y una de las mejores de toda la historia.
